Cookie Policy
How this site uses cookies and local storage.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let a website remember information between visits. The University of Gold Coast admissions portal (the "Portal") uses a small number of cookies, described below.
2. Cookies We Use
- Session & login cookies (essential): keep you signed in to your account as you move between pages, and identify your account so we know whose application you're completing.
- Security cookies (essential): protect the Portal's forms from cross-site request forgery.
These essential cookies are required for the Portal to function - without them you would not be able to log in or submit an application. The Portal does not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Local Browser Storage
While completing an application, the Portal also saves your in-progress answers in your browser's local storage (not a cookie, and not sent to our servers) so that an accidental refresh doesn't lose your progress. This data stays on your device and is cleared once your application is submitted.
4. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or applying through the Portal.
5. Contact Us
